Where are your prices?

Most of our non-miniature products have prices next to them. Although we try to keep our prices accurate compared to our system, there may at times be discrepancies. We apologize in advance if this occurs.

For miniatures, we have conflicting goals for our web page:

  1. To provide a valuable and useful resource for Skirmisher, Roleplayers, and Collectors.
  2. To offer a comprehensive list of all the miniatures that Wizards of the Coast has produced to illustrate what MAY be available in our store. We probably have the most comprehensive inventory of these miniatures, but some are (at any given time) out of stock.
These miniatures fluctuate in pricing almost daily, and the prices go up and down as the popularity or rarity of the miniatures change. As Vesivus has grown in popularity, it has gotten quite tricky to maintain our stock while offering competitive pricing. In most cases, our prices are very close to the market norm. In some extreme cases, our prices are vastly different than others. Overall, however, we aim to be very competitive in our pricing.

Let us start by saying that mailing our packages all over the world has taught us one thing: It's anything but straight-forward.

In order to accurately answer these questions, please first locate where you are in the list below:


I live in the United States of America
USA
  • Tracking: Tracking is NOT PROVIDED for most shipments into the USA. It is only available for an upgraded shipping service. With that said, if you had a very large (or very expensive) package, we may have shipped with this method. You should have received an email from Canada Post with a clickable link that takes you to the tracking page in this case. If you are not sure how your package was shipped, please Contact Us.


  • How Long: There are three ways we generally ship to the USA:
    1. Surface Small Packet - This can take up to 4-6 weeks to arrive. If you paid for only the basic shipping, chances are this is what service you received.
    2. Airmail Small Packet - This can take up to 2 weeks to arrive. If you paid for a shipping upgrade, chances are this is what service you received.
    3. USA Expedited - This takes about 2 weeks to arrive. If you had a large or expensive shipment, chances are this is what service you received. TRACKING is provided with this shipping method.

  • Tracking: Tracking is PROVIDED for all parcel shipments in Canada. You should have received an email from Canada Post with a clickable link that takes you to the tracking page. If you are not sure how your package was shipped, please Contact Us.


  • How Long:
    • Alberta - 1 Day.
    • British Columbia, or Manitoba - 2 days.
    • Other - 3-8 days

I live somewhere else in the world
INTERNATIONAL
  • Tracking: Tracking is NOT PROVIDED for most shipments outside of Canada. It is only available for a (very expensive) upgraded shipping service. With that said, if you had a very large (or very expensive) package, we may have shipped with this method. You should have received an email from Canada Post with a clickable link that takes you to the tracking page in this case. If you are not sure how your package was shipped, please Contact Us.


  • How Long: There are two ways we generally ship outside of Canada and the USA:
    1. Surface Small Packet - This can take up to 6-8 weeks to arrive. If you paid for only the basic shipping, chances are this is what service you received.

      PLEASE NOTE: We have had some shipments take up to FOUR MONTHS to arrive. Although we regret this, there is nothing we can do ... it is out of our control. If you do not want to pay for Airmail shipping (see below), then you do risk a very lengthy shipping time.

    2. Airmail Small Packet - This can take up to 2-4 weeks to arrive. If you paid for a shipping upgrade, chances are this is what service you received.

Vesivus has been operating out of a retail store front for a while now. We've been in business since 2003 and have begun to establish a reputation as the most friendly, value-oriented gaming store in Edmonton, Alberta, and possibly even Canada!

Do you allow local pickups??

Of course!

If you found us on the internet, we invite you come on buy and select what you'd like to purchase. We're a regular store in all regards.

If you bought items on eBay (or care to try your hand at bidding low), feel free, but we have the following policy for eBay purchases:

  1. Each and every physical item you win on eBay will add a $0.25 handling fee to your purchases to offset our eBay fees and our time. Here's an example:
    If you win 2 x Skullcrusher Ogres in a single auction on eBay, we will charge a $0.50 USD handling fee for them.
  2. Our exchange rate is currently 1.25 USD / CND
  3. Payment MUST be made in person. PayPal, Money Orders, and other forms of remote payment are NOT allowed. We accept Mastercard, Visa, and Cash for local purchases.

Do you take trades?

Absolutely! In fact, this is sometimes how we get some of the older, out-of-print items.

We've been on the receiving end of many trades and have developed a method that works well for our business:

  1. Contact Us with a list of what you have for trade. Please itemize this list by Miniature Set and Number to aid us in getting you a quick reply.

    We'll assume the items are in MINT condition and come with the original stat cards unless otherwise stated.

  2. We'll evaluate your trade and make an offer back to you in dollar value.
  3. If you agree, you will package up the miniatures and send them to us at your expense:

  4. We expect you to take care with your miniatures -- please do NOT send them loose in a box with the stat cards. This will mark up the miniatures and ding and bend the stat cards. To some, this sounds like common sense, but we've seen it all!
  5. When we have received the miniatures, we'll verify that the miniatures were in the stated conditions and note if there have been additions or ommissions. We understand mistakes happen and will work with you to adjust the offered amount to accommodate them.
We pay with Store Credit most of the time, although we've done straight purchases of people's collections. In any case, Vesivus is reknowned for our flexibility, so if you desire different terms, just Ask Us.
