Although not very intelligent, Ettercaps are cunning predators. Like the large monstrous spiders in whose company they are often found, they are skilled hunters and trappers. An ettercap is a revoltingcreature resembling a cross between a gangly human and a bloated spider. An ettercap can cast a web 8 times per day. This is similar to an attack with a net but has a maximum range of 50 feet, and is effective against targets of up to medium size.
